Breaking news :-)

Hi, everybody!

It's been over a year of our 'travelogging' here on blogspot, but recently we decided to move our blog to a website. We did this for a number of reasons, but the most important ones are:

(1) we are soon going to China and blogspot is not accessible from there, (2) it's just so much easier and a few times faster (!) to do posts in our own website rather than using the blogger interface, and (3) we've always wanted to try making a website from scratch (and we are not talking about a wordpress implementation here :-).

Regarding our new website: we haven't really had a chance to test it on all the possible browsers and at different download speeds, so if you find something that doesn't work quite ok or looks weird, do please let us know! We will really appreciate! So far we know that it works best in Mozilla, and ok in Chrome and IE9.

We have moved all the old posts to the new website - the only thing that we haven't moved (at least not yet) is all your great comments, but if time allows we will try to do it so that we have it all complete :-)
