Faces of Nepal

The faces of people we see in the streets tell a story of the country in the most genuine way. That's why whenever we have an opportunity (either the situation allows, or we got an explicit permission), we take pictures of people. We have this kind of collection from every country but the biggest one is from Nepal. Funnily enough, it was in this country where we saw a collection of postcards called "Faces of Nepal" but now we understand why: as you walk the streets of this country, the urge to "pause the moment" is too strong to resist.

Wow, this is so nice! You know, I was always a little afraid to walk up to the persons and take their picture, but you have some really nice ones here!! Keep up the good work (or, continue to have fun actually ;) ).

you know, it took us actually quite a while to find a way to take pictures of people, but we gradually figured out that mostly a question expressed with just the look and accompanied by a smile will do - people are mostly very friendly, and some kids even ask you to take a picture of them :-)
